I was led to be involved in Men's Ministry at Riverside Assembly of God because I have strong passion to spread the the Gospel - specifically to men. So many of us men are stubborn, prideful and set in our ways. We may feel like we have the answers to everything but that's just not the case. It is my prayer that God uses me to help us all to rely on Him. The weight of the world is heavy but it was not meant for us to carry it. As men, we carry much responsibility and the load can become to heavy for us to bear. When we spend time together and develop friendships, we realize we are not alone. We have brothers who will be there to pray for us and help us through those tough times. And maybe just to laugh with us or play a game of football or shoot some hoops. Whatever it is that we need, it can be found in Jesus Christ and with the support of the Men's Ministry. I'm looking forward to see what God has in store for us and the changes that 2010 will bring!
