I'd been raised in a Baptist Church and had gone to this church as a young man, but got tired of being preached and screamed at and for almost thirty years I avoided the church as much as possible. In 2002 a friend in the building I live in had invited me to go to service and that day the LORD opened my heart to a new way of hearing from him. At that moment I realized it was the LORD that brought me to Riverside. I found true love and understanding when I came to Riverside. One day I was asked to join the ushers ministry. I was always a person that loved entertaining others. I knew this was God’s way of putting me to His work! I now head up the ushers ministry and am involved with the hospitality team as well. I'm there almost three years and love every minute of it. I must say that, I have found God and a people who truly care about others from the heart. If you are searching for the LORD he is definitely to be found and you will experience his love at Riverside.
