Food Bank
The Helping Hands Food Bank Ministry at Riverside Cares was established to help meet the needs of families in our community. In Matthew 25, the Lord explained the difference between those He will favor and those He won't in terms of their giving. "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in..." When the righteous asked why they did such things, He replied, "I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me." Christ's message was simple: TRUE LOVE GIVES. The Food Bank is open every Tuesday evening from 7 to 8 p.m. If you are ever in need of assistance, come by or call us at 201.798.0642 to register.
